- U.S. visa, visa-waiver, or green card travelers may apply and pay online here for a 30-day visitor permit.
- A visitor granted a 30-day permit may apply for only one extension of 30 days; upon expiration of the extension, the visitor shall depart American Samoa immediately.

The ASAC Title 41 2024 Edition is the official codified administrative code: it is where the operative rules impose the Entry Permit on aliens (41.1007), grant the Entry Permit Waiver and OK to Board (41.1101), and enumerate the waiver countries (41.1102) and the Samoa waiver (41.1102(c)). The parent statute is ASCA 41.0502.
ASAC 41.1007(a) requires an alien to obtain a thirty-day entry permit through a sponsor at least three business days before entry, and 41.1007(d) fixes the grant at up to 30 days with one 30-day extension; that is the default treatment for every issuer not covered by a waiver.
