Conditions:
- The visa-free travel and short stay visa provisions of the Treaty on Gibraltar and the European Union Act 2026 entered into force on 15 July 2026.
- The Annex II footnotes that make an exemption begin at an event are resolved: the visa waiver agreement footnotes (7) and (11) are operative as recorded in the EUR-Lex register, and the ETIAS/1 January 2024 footnote (20) trigger has passed. The entries carrying those footnotes are answered in their own rows.
- The exemption from the visa requirement shall apply from the date of entry into force of an agreement on visa exemption to be concluded with the European Union; the EUR-Lex register of visa waiver agreements records the operative dates of those agreements, and the entries carrying footnotes (7) and (11) are answered in their own rows.
