The Directriz itself imposes the obligation on nationals of Groups 3 and 4 ('los que requerirán visa consular', 'los que requerirán visa restringida') and grants the visa-free entry of Groups 1 and 2; it is issued under Ley 8764 arts. 12, 13, 47, 48 and 51 and its CONSIDERANDO III quotes art. 7 of Decreto 36626-G establishing the four-group structure, which delegates exactly this nationality-by-nationality list to the DGME. El Salvador is in the visa-free SEGUNDO GRUPO (30 days), and the specific regulation fixes its passport rule: entry with a passport valid to its expiry date and a stay not exceeding the passport's validity.
