UU No. 6 Tahun 2011 on Immigration is the law whose Article 8(2) creates the obligation that every foreigner entering Indonesia hold a valid visa unless exempted; the BVK facility (Perpres 95/2024) and the VOA facility (Permenkumham 22/2023 as amended) are exemptions from that obligation.

Visa on Arrival' followed by these ninety-seven country/territory names is the Directorate General of Immigration's own list of the subjects of the visa-on-arrival facility, so each named nationality may obtain the visit visa on arrival at the designated entry point.
