The Aliens (Migration and Residence) Law 1965 creates the obligation: Article 5(1) requires every alien to hold a valid entry visa to land in Bahrain, and Articles 3 and 27 give the Ruler and the immigration authorities the power to permit and exempt entry. The ministerial decisions and the eVisa eligibility lists operate under the authority this statute creates.
The NPRA eVisa portal's on-arrival eligibility page is the operative list of nationalities granted a visa at the ports; the row covers the Annex A group at the head of that list (Decision 26/2026 states the group numbers 69, of which 66 issue roster passports, the rest being non-issuing territories), and the two-week single-entry visa quoted under fieldSources fixes the stay at 14 days.
